The antigen has by no means established itself as a reliable reagent during the last 12 years of its existence. The WHO in S.-E. Asia may supply the booklet. The recent interest in the antigen has been created by the organization only. A serologist depending on a test with this antigen alone will incur a serious responsibility, at least in the tropics Avhere details of false reactions given by it are yet unknown.
